Here is a promo image I asked to draw by IDW for the Transformers Unicron book which showed off his Robot mode.It was a lot of fun to design the robot mode for him.  The planet mode was already designed for another piece of promo art. Later you got to see the planet mode show up in the comics.So I had to design the robot mode using the design of the planet mode.  However the whole idea of IDW's Unicron was that he added on to himself with each planet he ate.  So it was a bit more forgiving to design the robot mode knowing that I didn't have to be too ridged with the alt mode.This image was later used for some special convention covers for issue 1. 

This image was colored by Sebastian Cheng who was my colorist for over half the series.  I enjoyed very much working with him on this project.He did an amazing job on this piece and I couldn't be happier with the finished product :) (Smile)
