    Revere Sasamori-sensei.
Presumably, he's referring to Sasamori Tomoe, who has drawn several female characters of very similar designs to the one starring in this comic.

    This week's theme is "moles".

In the follow up tweet, is he referring to Sasamori Tomoe?

Heh, I've seen this kind of encounter used as the premise of many hentai doujinshi.

On an unfortunate note, the first follow-up tweet defies my attempts at making sense of it.

Apparently, yes. The featured girl is practically a dead-ringer for this one.

I feel like the -shio is referring to the times when the Tawawa Mondays used to be Himura Kiseki drawing Ushio from KanColle.

It is. It isn't cut off, it's straight-up the kanji for Ushio's name. It can be read as just "shio", but context heavily implies it's referring to Ushio.

Many of Sasamori Tomoe's characters look like they came straight out of the Tawawaian universe or vice versa. It makes sense.

Took me a depressingly long time to realize he recognized her by her moles.

Getting a lot of new characters showing up recently, though most seem to have only appeared for a single appearance. The potter, the nursery teacher, the manager/boss, and the flower shop worker, and now this schoolgirl.

They're all very nice, but I kind of hope that we'll get some actual plot/continuation with at least some of them, rather than just a line of one-offs.

So... this girl has been posting racy pictures online, pretending to be an adult?

OK, besides me accidentally overwriting DreamFromTheLayer's translation, why is 笹森先生を崇めよ translated as "Revere Sasamori-sensei" (imperative tense) rather than "I revere Sasamori-sensei" (present tense)? How do you know that 崇めよ is indeed the imperative form rather than 崇め suffixed with the particle version of よ indicating certainty/emphasis?

The thing is, this is exactly how Tawawa was in the beginning, until Ai-chan was introduced. Not sure why she became a recurring character, though, but it did a lot of good for this franchise.

True, but in the beginning of Tawawa it was more just pin-up images, while nowadays they're mini-comics. There's a story (however brief), a bit of characterization and personality, etc...

Eh, I've probably just been spoiled by the various arcs that have popped up (Maegami's marriage/pregnancy, Jitome's developing relations with her fiance/cousin, Kakyou and the student she's tutoring, Cheer and her boy/friend). Like I said, I'm hoping to see more, but not really expecting it too much.

Because we don't say so in Japanese. If we want to say "(I) certainly revere" in Japanese, it would be "(私は)崇めるよ", combining the imperfective (plain) form of the verb with よ. We can only interpret 崇めよ as the imperative form of a group 2 verb.

Agreed. There are no grammar rules I know of that allow the verb stem + yo to be anything other than the imperative form, and definitely not a verb attributed to the speaker. Even an invitational "let's revere Sasamori-sensei (together)" would generally be 崇めよー at its most truncated.

    TIL. :)

Still, I find rather odd that Himura is using the imperative here.
