Is that why argon crystals decay, because they are ice cream and melt?
I mean they do look tasty, especialy thier purple core bits wich looks like some kind of ice. So its likely that the Argon Crystals are some pseudo ice with its structure maintained via void Radiation or whatever it is that makes it so gosh darn dangerous.
