Probably should be kept closest to release order as possible imo. If this was released before the elevator room, it may have been intended so that you only make the connections afterward.

It seem so I guess. Perhaps that might explain why in there are multiple Giant Otters.

Giant Otter Squad's Survival Guide for Exploring (from the author twitter):
1. When reaching each floor, sent out the mouse to check for gas or traps.
2. If safe to exit the elevator , sent out one member to explore.
3. If sole member safely returns, sent out two members.
4. If both members safely return, block the elevator door first, all three members explore at once.
5. If one or more doesnt retrun, immediately retreat to the Cloning Room.

According to the twitter, there is actually a fourth member, who always stay in a certain safe-room, her job is to go to the Cloning Room if all three members never called after a certain period.

I believe in giant otter squad.
