This anomalous had a whole lot of "fun". Wonder if the regulars are going to use the flower stick now that they've obtained one.

Some of them have been "infected" with the flower. I wonder if this will taint a new batch of clones?

The description of the flower stick and its effects suggests the flowers are just regular flowers, the danger comes from them compromising the integrity of things they sprout from, such as instant death if they sprout from the brain. There's no mention that they're explicitly parasitic or corrupting.

Otters die with a smile, laughing in the face of their death it seems. Anomalous or not.
