Artist's commentary
A Night's Song
Kyoto Prefecture's flower is the weeping cherry blossom so I included it in this art but, I wasn't really thinking critically and until now I was drawing it as an autumn artwork. Miku-chan looks good no matter what season it is, doesn't she? Kyoto Prefecture's tree (Kitayama Cedar), bird (Streaked Shearwater), and flowering plants (Sage Chrysanthemum) (Dianthus) have also been enthusiastically included.
