I think that's supposed to be the slide rack; her off-hand seems to be in that position.

Ah yeah, the "Israeli" note wasn't there when I said that.

No sense in not carrying with one in the chamber. Having to rack the slide when you don't have time to rack the slide will get you killed.

Anecdotal, obviously, but I've had a pistol fall to half-cock while it was holstered. I was not very happy with this considering it was pointed at my junk.

Watch Active Self Protection on Youtube and you'll see quite a few videos where the good guy lost the fight or was critically injured because a round wasn't chambered yet.
