I think the 「りん」part has something to do with their names, Erin, Meiling (Meirin) and Yukari..n?(not n at the end) or maybe its other the reason? please correct me if I'm wrong

Yukari is nicknamed "Yukarin". Thus, three girls with names (sort of) ending in "rin".
