I think it might be just how certain branches are. She is still ID, although she speaks Japanese and English and for alot of people although they know her it doesn’t mean that all the western and JP will run at her and the ID girls. Iofi for example is also multi-lingual and pretty amazing but even she suffer the same dilemma. But in the end, it doesn’t mean they’re inferior in anyway. Just that its harder to retain or get certain crowds but that’s really out of her control. However, with her recent interactions with the JP branch it is definitely more good than bad, and even her being a tour guide for the EN girls was genius. I’m sure eventually more people will flock to her and the others since they have proven they can cater to either crowds if needed, although might be difficult.
Also, many might be watching because they are fans of the JP girls themselves, rather than Moona unfortunately, not to say she doesn’t have fans.
The same could be said for the JP branches, that despite the EN girls getting massive growths, they are still only getting a small spillover since many EN viewer might just not understand, having to rely on translation or clips, or just not have the convenient time slot (many of the JP girls stream very late at night/too early in the morning due to JP time and location.
Kiara and Cali have a similar problem, which I would argue is why their sub and view counts are a tad lower compared to the others.
Also, high amount of viewers and such isn’t always good. Holostars for example retains a relatively small yet very healthy and fun base due to not being as chaotic and is very chill and much more enjoyable compared to that of very large ones, sometimes even out of control, followings.
