Hornet outright mentions Enterprise in her marriage line. They're definitely planning on adding her.

KC isnt afraid of been called a copycat, Tanaka has already a well stablished set of rules that the artists can use in order to created kanmusus in the way they want so they dont pay to much attention to what other shipgirls games do with their characters. My best bet is that Enterprise would be a foil to Hornet like Zuikaku is a foil to Shoukaku. That means she probably would be flat :b

Loli Enty wouldn't really fit though. She's the American aircraft carrier. Kancolle is a lot more consistent than Azur Lane when it comes to designing shipgirls, so KC!Enterprise might be more of a Flat Hornet or something.
I honestly just want her to either be a strong silent type, with damage lines that just get progressively more "Pfft, I've lived through worse than this!" and ridiculously stubborn lines for going to the repair baths.
Either that or she's ridiculously traumatized because she's seen some shit.

I have one loony theory about KanColle's Big E; During the Battle off Samar, some of the Japanese forces reported that they had sunk Enterprise, or at least an "Enterprise-class" ship, that was actually Gambier Bay. So they introduce Enterprise... and she looks like Gambier Bay in Hornet's outfit, complete with art by Akira and voiced by Shuu Uchida, with the same voice as Gamby, with the only other thing setting them apart being Enterprise having the opposite personality of Gambier Bay's.
uh no, there is slim chances that they switch artist for Enterprise. Especially if it is Konishi. They are likely aiming for him to do it like the Kongou sisters and draw E with Zuikaku in promotional fanarts, Zuizui being the rival and all.
Literally came here thinking there'd be comments pointing out the obvious similarity in Enterprise and Hornet's sleeveless shirts, and it's like I walked into a room of stir-crazy KC fans waiting for Tanaka's hand of mercy.
Honestly, KC Hornet looks more like Enterprise's sister than AL Hornet, and it's been my headcanon from the moment she came out.

You do realize that Gambier Bay's pilots reported attacking Yamashiro numerous times throughout that engagement?
