I feel like these positions should be reversed.

No way would Zara let Pola the drunkard drive. And Pola the drunkard would totally still be drinking while Zara drove.

There's driving, and then there's drunk driving. Both being Italian, it's likely they both have a taste for wine. Pola's the one who REALLY has a taste for it, though.
