    First.

Low angles are hard to draw, especially when it comes to stacked girls, considering sometimes you don't know how much of the head should ve visible (if at all).

This lass is lucky to he able to procure nice references on a whim

    Beret-Chan**** is back.

****Unofficial name, because if I don't point out the obvious, I'll get screamed at by morons.

So if she wanted a low angled symmetrical docking shot, she'd press herself against a mirror...?

It’s funny you should go off on that spiel, since the Japanese seem to have settled on ‘Manga-chan’.

    Blame my autocorrect
Although, having said that, both ‘Manga-chan’ and ‘Mangaka-chan’ seem to be being used interchangeably right now?
Mangaka makes more sense, but it wouldn’t be the first time the moniker was shortened to make a cuter name - Cheer-chan is so named because she’s a ‘Cheer Girl’ (JP term for cheerleader), with her real name being revealed as Chia only after that moniker had been established. It’s also Sada-chan rather than Sadako-chan, and Volleybu-chan rather than Volley Ball-chan, so…?
    Wait and see, I guess!

I couldn't find any "Manga-chan" on Twitter that was in a reply to any tweet by Himura, but I did find plenty of "Mangaka-chan" instead. Seems like the latter is far more commonplace.

Cheer-chan and Volleybu-chan's names aren't really comparable, since the former is a contraction of either one of two much longer descriptors that would double the pronunciation's length (チアガール chia gāru or チアリーダー chiarīdā), and the latter works because it only drops the rather unnecessary 員 suffix (meaning "member"). In comparison, "Manga-chan" is ambiguous enough to just as likely refer to a girl that is a manga fan rather than a manga artist, so adding -ka (家) to clarify is perfectly appropriate considering that it practically adds little to the pronunciation length (yes, it's technically a 50% increase, but with just two short syllables as the base, that's indeed a trivial increase in practice).

And Sada-chan is obviously named that instead of "Sadako-chan" because she's explicitly not Sadako Yamamura but a parody of her, with a very different backstory whose only overlap with her namesake's own is that both died young by falling into a well (by accident in Sada-chan's case, rather than as a murder as in Sadako's case).
