Finally a Ai-chan / Onii-san panel after a long while. We need to get back to their story, especially in the manga.

While I don’t necessarily disagree, I think the real thing is…is that their story is complete. They’re already in a relationship, and there’s nothing more, really, to do with them, outside of little lighthearted gags like this one.

If you look at a lot of the other girls - like Maegami-chan, Houkurou-chan, Cheer-chan, or Gimai-chan, then they basically disappear after they’ve gotten together with their lover (or given birth/told their parents, respectively). You can bet that once Esper-chan bags her nerd, we’ll only see her once in a blue moon.

The only real outliers to that are Jitome-chan and Kouhai-chan - neither of which are together yet, with the former having basically disappeared and the latter still occasionally inching forwards but still a lot rarer than you’d expect.

This is nice, just a small little slice of life moment between the couple. And like a....subtle boob joke, nice change of pace.
