Other than Mohg beating the allegations, DLC's plot is garbage clearly wrought from not having enough time and resources to implement a proper story.

What story implementation? Melina suddenly has a brother, too bad she never appears in the DLC and never comments on it. Miquella and (apparently) Radahn?! suddenly gay! Reusing Rhadan felt like fanservice and I imagine it was convenient repurposing his character model. He had a certain mystique about him since the fight the player has with him is well passed his prime, leaving one to wonder what it'd be like otherwise.

I HATE to say it but I agree
Messmer, Marika and the Dragons' part was great but Miquella's is ehh,
lets say it pretty shaky under scrutiny.

I noticed how strange the lore of the DLC is when Malenia is not mentioned at all and the Twin's Shadows is straight up doesn't exist despite of them being Empyreans.

Prior to finding out that Miquella has magic charm powers, being a follower of his seemed like one of the least crazy things in the world before the Shattering. And after the Shattering that was even more the case. So instead of people following the golden god child of their own volition, which is completely understandable and believable all things considered, everyone is now some kind of victim of a narccissist with delusions of grandeur.

Never mind that in terms of raw charisma alone the kid had alot going for him.

There's also the entire reason why Castle Sol exists - Miquella tried to grant Godwyn a true death by trying to invoke the eclipse, which failed to appear. That, coupled with his failure to completely cure his sister's rotting problem caused him to abandon Golden Order.
