まあ、こんなものただの道具さ。
俺は撃てればそれでいい―――なんて言いたくなるが、
実のところやっぱり大事だよ、道具ってのは。

手に馴染むのがいい、俺が狙ったところに、
寸分違わず弾を届けてくれるのがいい。
長いこと使って使って使いまくったせいで、
目をつむってたって、準備ができる。

……ま、こんなこと言っておいて新しくて相性の良い
銃があれば、さっさと乗り換えてしまう気もするが！

だってホラ、何にせよ、おまえさんを守ることが、
何より重要だからな。サーヴァントなんてのは。

Yeah, it's just a tool. As long as I can shoot, that's all that matters... At least, that's the sentiment that'd have made things simple, but the truth is that even a simple tool is still important. It should sit well in my hand and it should put the bullet exactly where I want it to go without ever missing. I've been using this thing for so long, I can do it with my eyes closed.

Well, having said that, I got a feeling I'd switch to a new gun if I found one that was newer and better, because at the end of the day, protecting you is more important than anything else. At least that's what it means to be a Servant.
