Hydrangea Parfait
It's been a while
Lately it's been getting gradually hotter, and I wanted to draw a summery illustration
Last year when I took a trip to Uji, I finally ate it
It was a tasty and very beautiful sweet
It's the first I've drawn a food illustration in a while, and drawing food really does make me happy. It was fun.
Uji is a city on the southern edge of Kyoto, Japan, well known for its green tea. The hydrangea parfait is one of a line of hydrangea-themed desserts offered by a green tea store there.
