    Nazu's affair from the other side.

    He and Nazu have gotten a lot closer lately. It used to be Nazu would make fun of him, and he would come back with words just as vicious. It was much the same now as it was then, but every once in a while the two of them would share fevered glances, or sometimes they would both disappear. It was like there was a secret shared only by the two of them.
    He was a young man who came to the temple to study. He paid attention to the sermons, was respectful to all (except Nazu), and trained hard to endure the asceticism. I respect that kind of dedication, so I respected him even though he was a human. That respect grew into a comfortable feeling whenever he was around, without me even realizing it. By the time I did realize it, I was thinking only of him. Nazu noticed my new feelings for him.
    "If you're going to go after him, you need to consider carefully whether those feelings are honest or not. You shouldn't assume that that cozy feeling will last forever," is the advice she gave me.
    But it was such foolishness. He is a human, and I am an acting Bishamonten. The answer is clear. I'm satisfied with the current relationship. For whatever reason, he is near me. Just that was enough. The way things are now is nothing. This separation can go on forever. That was my belief.
    That night Nazu crept away to go to his room. I thought this was strange, so I peeked into the room after her. She was sitting in his lap, and he was holding her close. I sobbed. It was impossible for that freeloader Nazu to be doing what I saw, much less doing it with him. He and the freeloading Nazu, behaving like carefree lovers... no. No! I don't want to see that. I felt like throwing up. It unfolded in front of me like a nightmare...
    "Why don't you take my clothes off today?" Nazu said. He agreed and began to help her strip.
    I pulled back and left, unable to watch anymore. I hated it. I hated it, and despised it, and.. w-why did he... why with Nazu? Stop it! This isn't possible... I hate it. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it! Hate it, hate it, hate it, hate, hate, hate, I hate!

    ナズとの情事の裏側。

    最近、彼とナズが距離が近い。 元々彼らはナズが彼をからかい、彼がそれに反応をして、お互い憎まれ口をたたき合う様な存在でした。 現在も表面的には以前と変わらないのですが、 たまに熱っぽい視線を混じり合わせていたり、 時折皆に内緒で二人で抜けたりする。まるで、二人だけの秘め事があるかの様に。 彼は、うちの寺で修行をしたいとやって来た青年で。 説法をよく聞き、皆を敬い(ナズは別でしたが)荒行にまじめに取り組んでいました。 そんなひた向きさに私は感心して、人間ながら彼を尊敬していたのです。 そんな気持ちが、いつしか、彼と同じ空間に居るだけで心地良く感じるようになり、 そんな気持ちがいつしか気づけば、・・・彼の事をばかりを考えていて。 ナズはそんな私の彼に対する気持ちに気づいたようで、 「あなたにその気があるのなら、その気持ちに素直になるかどうか、真剣に考えるべきです。 　居心地のいい状況がいつまでも続くと思わない方がいい。 」と忠告してくれました。 でもそんな事は愚問でした。 彼は人間で、私は毘沙門天の代理。答えは分りきっています。 それに私は、今の関係に満足していたのです。 彼の傍になんとなく私が居る。それだけで良かったのです。 このまま何もなく、この距離感でいつまでもこうしていられる。 そう思っていました。 最近夜になるとナズがこっそりと彼の部屋に訪れます。 それを不審に思って、彼の部屋を覗いてみました。すると。 ナズは彼の膝に座って、抱きしめられて、切ない声を上げていました。 あんな甘えたナズは今まで一度も見た事が、ましてや彼にそんな顔を見せるなんてあり得ない。 彼に、甘えているナズはまるで、恋人に甘え・・・いや。 嫌だ。そんなもの見たくない。 私は、吐き気を催してきました。目の前の光景が、悪夢のようで・・・。 「今日は君が脱がしてくれるかい？」 とナズが言って、彼がそれを了承して、ナズの衣類を脱がし始めました。 これ以上は見ていられず、私はその場を去りました。 気持ちが悪かったのです。気持ちが悪くて、悪くて。 な、何故、彼が、何故ナズと。やめて、そんな事あり得ない・・・。 気持ちが悪い気持ちが悪い気持ちが悪い気持ちが悪い気持ちが悪いわっふる気持ちが悪い気持ちが悪いわっふる気持ちが悪い気持ちが悪い気持ちが悪
