YF-19
A transformable mecha from the MACROSS universe. It first appeared in the Macross Plus OVA.
The YF-19 Alpha One is an advanced prototype of the VF-19 variable fighter.
This new mecha was designed by scientist Yang Neumann. A test pilot for this fighter was Isamu Dyson.
Features include extreme high speed and maneuverability inside an atmosphere, canards and forward sweep wings, as well as a new mini pin-point barrier system adapted for variable fighter use.
In real life the YF-19 was designed by Kawamori Shouji in the 90s.
