A cat-like Pokémon seemingly based on a maneki-neko. It has light yellow fur with brown accents, two pairs of whiskers, large eyes with slit pupils and has a kobancoin on its head. Despite being quadruped, it also has the ability to walk on two legs.
The most well-known Meowth is the one who accompanies Team Rocket duo Jessie and James in the Pokémon anime. Unlike most Meowth, he has the ability to talk and converse in human speech.
