While in this form, the Zeta Gundam is granted not only enhanced speed and mobility, but also the ability to make an atmospheric re-entry from space on its own without the aid of ballute packs or other external re-entry systems. Thanks to the Biosensor System installed on the Zeta, the Wave Rider Mode can be used as a deadly weapon called the Waverider Crash if said system is activated.
