Leader of the eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE in Final Fantasy VII, and featured in the Compilation. Adoptive father of Marlene Wallace.

A muscular, mature male, Barret has dark skin, very short black hair, a scar on his cheek and a beard. Wears green pants and a brown vest with torn sleeves, and a set of dog tags. On his left arm he has a tattoo and his right arm was destroyed and replaced with a prosthetic gun. As of Final Fantasy VII Remake, he sometimes wears sunglasses.
