A Castlevania game released for the PlayStation 1 (and Japan-only Sega Saturn) by Konami on March 20, 1997. It is a direct sequel of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood.
It is notable for its Metroid-like gameplay, earning the term Metroidvania.
