Cliff Grimoire (クリフ・グリモル) is a character in mushoku_tensei. He is the grandson of the Millis Pope and a quarter-hobbit, which accounts for his short stature.
A magical prodigy known as the "Sage's Egg" , Cliff first appeared as a young mage who fell in love with Eris Greyrat after a brief encounter. He later enrolled in the ranoa magic academy, where he met Rudeus Greyrat. Despite an initial rivalry over Eris, he became one of Rudeus's closest allies and married Elinalise Dragonroad.
While not a front-line fighter, he is a genius researcher of magic circle and curses. Alongside Zanoba Shirone, he developed the Zarith's Prosthetic Hand and the Magic Armor. He is most famous for creating artifacts to suppress the curses of Elinalise and orsted.
