dragon quest ii

ドラゴンクエスト2 ドラクエ2 DQ2

Full title: Dragon Quest II: Akuryo no Kamigami (悪霊の神々, lit. "Pantheon of Evil Spirits")

The second game in the Dragon Quest series, and the first in which the player controls a party of adventurers rather than just a single character. Set one hundred years after the first game, the plot follows the descendants of the first Dragon Quest's hero as they struggle to free their world from the domination of the evil wizard Hargon.

Originally released for the Famicom in 1987, an English version was published for the NES in 1990 under the title Dragon Warrior II. It has since been re-released several times, often combined with the original game, most notably for the Super Famicom and Game Boy Color.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 follows after this game, which expands on the nature of the villains.
