karaginu mo
A style of formal court dress first worn in the Heian period by noble women and ladies-in-waiting at the Japanese Imperial Court. Some are noticeably very colorful with large patterns.
The karaginu is a waist length Chinese style jacket. The mo is an apron-like train, down the back of the robe.
