The first game in the Kingdom Hearts series. An action role-playing game developed and published for the PlayStation 2 by Squaresoft (now Square Enix). Features original characters alongside those of the Final Fantasy series and Disney films (these including themed worlds).

A "director's cut" rerelease, Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, included extended scenes and a new boss battle against a member of Organization XIII.
