Character from Hunter x Hunter, a chimera ant with ant, human and cat genes. Also known as Pitou.

No confirmed gender, although speaks with the male pronoun "boku". Has a prominent bust in both the anime and manga. Furthermore, wears female clothing in the manga and media related to the anime and was VA'd with a feminine voice. Was mistakenly referred to as "male" in an English translation of a official databook, leading to the misconception in the fandom that Pitou is confirmed male.

It can be presumed that the manga version was intended to be female, at least in appearance. As such, can be considered an archetypical catgirl.

Neferpitou's name is a combination of the Egyptian deity Nefertem and a character named Pitou in the French series "Caroline et ses Amis."

She uses the abilities Doctor Blythe and Terpsichora.

Voiced by: Fujimura Ayumi (Japanese), Sarah Anne Williams (English)
