Secondary My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic character. The princess of love and Twilight Sparkle's former babysitter, introduced in the season 2 finale "A Canterlot Wedding" alongside her husband Shining Armor.
The Cadance the audience is originally introduced to turns out to actually be a transformation of Queen Chrysalis, who had the original Cadance imprisoned. She is freed by the end of the episode. Eventually the mother of Flurry Heart.
