Attire worn by ravers is often colorful and made of synthetic materials, as well as highly revealing, due to the tendency for these events to be hot and uncomfortable. Pasties are a particularly common sight. Common accessories include plastic bead bracelets ("kandi"), fur leg warmers, fishnet gloves and pacifier necklaces. They also often carry glowsticks and wear glow jewelry.
