Character from the Mario series, first appearing in Super Mario Galaxy alongside the Luma race.

She is a mysterious woman who travels the cosmos on her starship, the Comet Observatory, along with her adopted Lumas. During her conceptualization she was considered to be a possible relative of Princess Peach, hence the visual similarities [1]. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie references this by making Rosalina Peach's sister in its continuity, distinct from her backstory in the game.

Known as Rosetta in Japan.
