It felt like a chick saying ”Meow!” :-)

Naturally, I figure there are regional differences, even in Hiroshima.

By the way, shopwise, they say that the melon bread at Melon Bread is filled with custard cream, but it it felt more like white bean jam. They cost only ¥140, which is considerably cheap.

Reader-added tags include "I don't understand", "Mysteries beget more mysteries", and "Clump of contradictions".

The survey wants it all in the breadbasket:

Yuukarin's giving out breads. Which should we get?

    • Shoulder pain
    • Head pain
    • Stomach pain
    • Solid painch
    • String pain-ties

(Thank goodness for the French pronunciation; it makes retaining the puns so much easier.)

Damn, seems like the only thing different about those pans is their shapes, must taste the same on the inside too.

Also, no, I don't think i want any of those pain. Especially the 4th one, sounds panful.

Funnily enough, there still are people who call choux cream "eclaire" here in my country. It all started because when those two desserts were imported, the guy stocking the dessert shelves accidentally switched the signs around. (Poor guy couldn't read English or French, or so the story goes.)

I come from Hiroshima and I've never seen anybody who call those breads that Shana loves to eat as koppe-pan.

Well, the first two taste mostly the same but the last one is completely different. It's plain and not sweet at all.

    And this?
    RrRRmMmBbBlLLlll...
    School lunch bread.
    Huh? Wait a sec.
That's how they call them here in Hiroshima.
    Then what's this?
Koppepan. From coupe pao, "bread roll". This usually refers to small, oblong rolls that look like hot dog buns (as below).
When they talk about melon bread in Hiroshima, this is what they mean.
