Sadly this is how most modern parents are.. to busy working for the kids but forget the kids needs them too.
Hopefully my kids won't experience this.
My parents purposely waited until they had a stable income before they had me so that my mother could take care of me. That is the true sign of a parent, not just haphazardly having a kid then hoping for the best. More people should probably listen to Dr. Laura.
