Karuta.

Everyone has cards with poems written on them laid out in front of them. A reader begins to read these poems and the first person to recognize which poem is being read slaps it off to the side. The first person to slap all their cards away wins.

The 'sports' manga Chihayafuru (and its anime adaptation) is about karuta and it's pretty good.
