Parody request since the style difference and character name portmanteau in the artist commentary indicates that Saori is being portrayed like unto another character.

Apparently the Japanese fans all got it (twitter #1069205061140500480), but after looking at all of the "-liel" (リエル) names in Danbooru's wiki (wiki search), I didn't find anything definitive. The Japanese fans mentioned something about a goddess (女神) though, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I think it's a Sariel. Just one kana away (サリエル vs. サオリエル). I don't know which Sariel though.

What is the purpose of the parody_request tag? This is the only post in it and the wiki has no description.

You should read the OP. I'm looking for the character being parodied.

Most *_request tags are intuitively obvious. I also stated the reason in the OP. If the tag gets more use, then someone can write a wiki.
