    A very sad story

    *Please don't re-upload this picture on tumblr/fb/other social network, I'm quite annoyed to see this old artwork of mine posted around with no permission or link.     I think that there isn't a story more sad in pokèmon games than this. Poor cubone, he lost his mother ;_; (this pic remember me the dead of Mufasa)

    Edit: I'm really sorry to get sad most of the deviants that remember this sad chapter of the pokemon history so well but i'm glad to see how, despite the cubone' story is getting old, the people keep the memory alive in their hearts, it's very touching.

    Unpopular opinion - I actualy enjoy Trace from Lets Go! games as character. Sure he's not Green, but it's far from "watered down, nicer Green" and it shows exactly with Cubone's story that concludes with Trace deciding to take care of Cubone and train him to avenge his mom. They even takes actual role in Silph co. and fight together with player against TR Admins

    Honestly when his character design was first revealed I really didn't like him because I thought they are going for another jerk character. But after seeing him in the actual game, I really like him, a genuinely nice guy with his own development. Though trying to fit his character into Green's original role do lead to some weird situation, like suddenly battling you out of panic, where originally Green battle you because he is Green. That was so weird lol
