Did the artist add any notes to this picture (such as with a blog entry)? Depending on what the background to this picture is, it might only be jealousy instead of netorare. If Yuki never staked a claim on Kyon (or never made her feelings known to him) then it's only jealousy, since she never really got him in the first place.

More likely that Haruhi and Kyon just went to it and forgot to shut the door in the excitement/inevitable explosion of unresolved sexual tension. Yuki was just unfortunate enough to stumble across them as it's happening.

None of these characters are in-character, unless you count that Yuki as Alt. Nagato.

Why doesn't she just join them?
