I feel the need to explain this since many people here probably don't speak Spanish.

The character “Private” in the Latin American dub is called “Cabo”
(Cabo is a military rank)
The country Cape Verde is written “Cabo Verde” in its original language (and in Spanish too!)
Verde means Green

This sparked a lot of memes because, before this World Cup, almost no one knew anything about Cape Verde, we even made fun of them for being a weak team... but no, they weren't; they really surprised us, especially thanks to Cabral and vozinha.

The most popular meme was taking a Cabo (private) Picture and painting him green
