Are there any guidelines for when simply correcting the tags that exist is preferable to submitting an alias?
See forum #11218. miyamoto_ryuuchii to miyamoto_ryuuichi is simply a matter of someone making a typo when they added the former, so far as I can tell. There are only 20 posts. None in about 2 months. Does it really need an alias, or can we just fix the posts that exist and be done with it?
While ambiguity probably wouldn't be much of an issue in the above case, I'm wary about creating aliases unnecessarily because we could wind up creating conflicts down the line.
