The resolution is the only thing stopping me from approving it, yes. Also, you don't need to add the resolution as tags, those can be searched with meta tags instead.

it's a good composition otherwise so they could maybe be ignored otherwise, but considering how they are the focus of the image, it's difficult

I would just like some explanation for why this picture wasn't approved. The other two "Sweet Admiral" pictures were approved with no problem, and this artist regularly has his art posted here. I think the quality of this picture is as good as his other work, so I'm a little puzzled as to why it was deleted.

@janoosh : looked at several other works. Here you can see lower quality: transitions of shades, smooth lines. If you do not agree with me, that is howto:appeal.

Anywho, this post is a bit old, but I'd like some feedback on post #3955577 and its child. I understand that furry stuff isn't particularly popular, and given that Danbooru is an anime art database, that makes sense. However, this artpiece gives off strong, distinctly Japanese kemono vibes. Just like one of those Japanese animes!

In any case, it seems well drawn to me, at least from a technical perspective. But if y'all could give me some input, I'd appreciate it!

The first image is a screencap at the highest resolution the VN supports without upscaling.
Is the problem that I don't have an ideal source? I know a lot of the "game_cg" tagged posts are simply screencaps without an ideal (or any) source listed.
Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

Both images has identical pixel data as those available on exhentai. source:*://exhentai.org/* is a valid source here.

Extracting assets directly from game files yields best result. You can't really trust game engine to do pixel perfect output.

@KuroNoRider those pictures are e-hentai samples. hitomi.la basically scrapes e-hentai and serves smaller versions, so you should always try to find the original gallery on e-hentai, download the full picture from there and upload that.
