None of that really addresses the issue that plant animal is not an existing tag, and serves zero purpose in these BURs. You need to make the tag for anything you've said to matter, which is possibly something that should be discussed. Implicating an empty tag is not going to magically populate that tag.

It's as Vigil says. Make a favgroup for plant_creature, then propose a BUR to populate it as follows: "mass update favgroup:xxx -> plant_creature"
The only one of these tags I can see having any use at all is plant_creature, and even then it sounds to me like it'd be 98% Grass type Pokémon. But again, without that favgroup, there's no way to be sure of that.
Fair enough, I admit I made this when very tired and looking back having the person and non person things together was pretty dumb too. Plant animal was more premptive in case people wanted to search for non humanoids but also keep cute digimon out of the search, that would also mean cleaning a bunch of the posts currently under plant monster and moving them under plant animal. But it's also possible to just change plant monster to plant creature as that's how it's already used. The wiki of plant monster and monster right now:
plant monster
A plant that moves, and can attack others. Usually, this involves a plant-like form of tentacles using vines. Other than this, or in conjunction with this, they may act like a pitcher plant, venus fly trap, or other predatory real-world plant, dragging characters into a deadly portion of the plant.
Plant monsters probably shouldn't be humanoid. Plant Girl is used for (feminine) humanoid plant monsters, while Plant Boy is used for (masculine) humanoid plant monsters.

Monster
Something big, scary and non-human that quite probably has tentacles.
For creatures that don't seem appropriate to label as a monster (particularly those that are not big and scary), use the creature tag instead.
For the series, see Monster (manga).
For Japanese monsters, see Kaiju.

Worth noting that a lot of the posts under plant monster also don't qualify as monster_girls based on the human faces rule.

I don't think any of these proposed tags are a good idea, you're trying to collect several very different things into a single search. Plant person and plant being are especially bad ideas.
I disagree on this, it's very logical people would like to search for plant people. Whether that should share one mega umbrella tag with plant creatures or just be plant_person or plant_creature should be a seperate bur tho.
