    The complete Cirno x Suwako fanbook, Fairy Ring.

    People have always suspected that it would take a miracle for Cirno and Suwako to become friends. Fortunately, when gods are involved, miracles are a little easier to find.

    This is... wow. I'm kinda speechless here. It's very different from other touhou-based comics so far, and a very nice read.

    "Two thumbs up!!" is what I would like to say, but this one certainly deserves more than that. Here's hoping that it will get approved so others would have a chance to read it one day.

    This was a splendid little work. Cirno showing emotion and a higher level of thought process than most artists typically portray is a very nice breath of fresh air among the clutter of works out there. Seeing her get along with Suwako though, now 'that' I truly enjoyed seeing.

    The problem is that Yuri hasn´t the same meaning in Japan as for us western fans. We use Yuri for sexual explicit content, but such things are categorized as "lesbian" in Japan and Yuri is used in terms of innocent, romantic and often preliminary homosexual relationships between young girls... So basically, what we call Shoujo Ai.

    So I guess, Wing of Yuri went with the Japanese meaning.

    Hi, this is Sixten (pellaeon on deviantart), the author of Fairy Ring. Black Gold Saw and Tetrominon didn't ask me for permission when posting this, but it's perfectly fine with me.

    I've been infracted in the distant past for trying to post my own stuff to Danbooru when my work sucked and I didn't know it was against the rules. So the fact that people now think my work is good enough to be on here is quite a compliment to me.

    I'm retroactively granting people permission to post this, and allowing them to post any future works on my blog or pixiv that they believe are worthy of Danbooru.

    I was as puzzled as the rest of you when the publisher put the yuri tag on my book. When I asked why, I was told that they put that tag on any book that features a pairing of two girls, whether that pairing is romantic or not.

    This doesn't seem right to me, and I have put a disclaimer on pixiv and deviantart that my book does not actually contain yuri. I'm not going to insist that they remove the tag though; with all they've done for me, I don't argue with the publisher unless it's absolutely necessary.

    But keep in mind that the publisher runs the site named Yurikai, and wears extra-strong yuri goggles round the clock. If they can see yuri in the flavor text of Angel of Flight Alabaster, they can see yuri in my Cirno x Suwako book.

    Nevertheless, thank you for all the compliments regarding Fairy Ring. I'm sorry for rushing the book (note the complete lack of backgrounds in a number of panels) and for writing a plot that relies too heavily on coincidence. I hope to do better in the future.
