I recently finished Dead Space, and while I had a great time playing it, it made me really miss System Shock 2. I decided I needed to exorcize my demons and try to pay tribute to one of the most terrifying monsters ever, the Cyborg Midwife.

Her story is twisted and scary, and fit perfectly into the world of System Shock 2. Hearing her clanking through the halls on her metal legs and muttering freaky things to herself in that sweet, psychopathic, mechanical voice... man.

Anyways, for those of you who shared my experience, this is for you :)

Another commission for the re-release of System Shock 2! One of my most favorite 2D paintings of mine, mostly because it's fan-art, and tribute to what I thought were one of the scariest creatures I'd ever experienced in a game!
