Drakenier: "I haven't worked on this seriously in maybe a year, but I think it's time to officially abandon it.
The rest of the animation was going to go like this: Marie comes out of invisibility and blasts the subC, then sprints along the catwalk with the android in tow while shooting wildly at the sniper subC. A lucky shot from the sniper hits Marie right in the chest. She flashes back/forward in an abstract dream of the different peri levels, ending with an image of her falling and the screen fading to white. Cut to panning shots of the 3 subC bodies (the sniper succumbed to his wounds), ending with a shot of Marie grievously wounded. Luciferians and the ambient noise have faded, leaving only the kaai OST playing softly in the background. From offscreen, the android drags herself to Marie's side. Marie weakly opens her eyes, noticing a red glint in the androids carapace (the healing fuse that is next to her in the game). With great effort, she ejects a used-up, cracked fuse from her chest and inserts the fresh one. Electricity surges violently throughout her body. Significantly healed, she picks the android up on her back and wanders into the mall area. The android shifts, attempting to look out the large windows. Marie pauses, then walks over to them. They both stand in silence, staring out at the glowing beams of the planetarium sweeping over the rainy city skyline."
