Artist's commentary
My Batman character sheet for BATMAN: DARK PATTERNS.
The goal is for him to feel a natural progression on other early year Batman designs, while incorporating classic silver/bronze age elements like the yellow oval (now a circle) and the signature black cowl shadow.
