Spring Dawn | Reverse: 1999
A flash of the blade parts the morning frost. The sword draws back, and snow tumbles from the Mei tree.
Inside the pavilion, brewing tea hums like wind through the pines. Outside, the young swordsman breathes warmth into his hands. He turns, his robe sweeping across the stone steps.
Yesterday's frost will melt into the burgeoning streams of spring.
