I felt like I needed a little lightning in my life and what better way to do it than with one of the greatest superheroes, Shazam (who used to be Captain Marvel until Marvel through a fit recently and it got changed)? I had found these sketch pencils a long time ago through Google and after some digging, I found they belonged to the awesome rafaeldelatorre whose style was great to work with. For the piece itself, I felt like it needed that "pow!" look to it, as well as both child like wonder from Billy and mature-like stoic lighting from Shazam. I apologize the file isn't bigger - The original was pretty small and I worked with what I had. I think Captain Marvel, er, Shazam, is probably one of the best well created superheros ever made. He's unique and I can't think of another superhero that has his origins or his way of powers. Anyways, feedback and comments are always welcome! Heart
