And the prologue is finished! Yay! Congrats to everyone who guessed the last story would be about Sunset! I will later make some drawings about her finding out about everything that happened and the creation of the rebellion, with some new members included, wink wink C;, hope that all of you like it! And a little bonus: some headshots of the sirens that i did C;

Notes: I will admit that i made the scene in the cold snow of the outskirts of the Crystal Empire because i thought it would look dramatic hehe, but why is the mirror in a place like this? My idea is that after Sombra took over the empire in the AU he threw away the things from the princesses that were in the castle far away. Ngl the idea of sombra getting rid of everything in there like a bitter ex is pretty amusing haha.

Sunset had tried. She had tried to be nice to the new students, she had tried to support her new friends with their band, she had tried to contact with Celestia and swallow a bit of her pride, even Twilight would have helped, but she got no answer, maybe they didn’t trust her either... She had tried to warn everyone about her suspicions with the dazzlings, she had tried to stop them from consuming the magic of this other world.

She tried her best, and failed.

With the magic they had gathered the sirens had opened the portal to Equestria early, as if the Equestrian magic was trying to bring them again into it. Sunset knew she couldn’t do anything for the other world, the alternate mane 6 had been drained of their magic, and she wasn’t sure if she had any in this realm.

The sirens got into the portal, heading towards Equestria, and Sunset jumped into it too, even if she wasn’t sure if she would be welcomed or not. She would have to explain everything to the princesses, surely they would help, and they had the elements too, everything would be okay and she would return to her world, to her…friends.

When she set foot into Equestria she felt some dizziness, but something wasn’t right.

Sunset saw the sirens soaring into the sky, determined to cause mayhem, but when she lifted up her eyes she didn’t see the last rays of sun as she expected but a whole moon staring back at her, it couldn’t be that late. And she surely wasn’t in the crystal castle like last time, or Canterlot, or anything, she was in the middle of nothing. She looked around, noticing the mirror was in a rough condition, the crystalline artifact on top was broken, perhaps from a magic overcharge. She could see the crystal empire far away but it looked…different.

Something was extremely off, and she was going to figure it out.
