Something interesting for Filipino members of this group. Did you know that Darna originally named Varga was created in 1939, 2 years before Wonder Woman was created in 1941? Partly influenced by Superman comics brought to the Philippines by US soldiers. She’s practically the female version of Superman without the kryptonite. Darna and Wonder Woman’s origins are quite distinct. Darna's powers are granted by a magical stone, while Wonder Woman's powers are inherent to her as a member of the Amazonian race. It would definitely be an interesting match up, if they were to fight. I honestly think Darna can take Diana and vice-versa. It can totally be a standstill. Art by me.

Darna has a final form which is called “Hiraya”

It is achieved by performing seven combat stances of Marte. In this form, Darna gains absolute invulnerability, cosmic energy channeling, and aerokinesis, meaning she can control wind and air.
