True. Genestealers' rending talons can hurt even Astrtes in Tactical Dreadnought armor. It is mentioned in Ciaphas Cain novel.

Still, if anyone can take on a genestealer/xenomorph hybrid; it's a terminator with power claws...
Although I don't fancy his chances if there's more than those two...

Those are lightning claws. not power claws. Power claws are slow and clunky but capable of shearing tanks apart with ease.

Lightning claws are fast and decimate infantry.

You gonna pass off those novels as credible sources? Pfft. Besides, almost every author has a different take on how tough Space Marine armor is.

Genestealers are excellent against marines and terminators on the tabletop as well. They have a 1/6 chance of ignoring a target's armor and toughness when they hit and attack twice per round. You can also get about 3 of them for the price of one standard terminator. Basically, if your terminators are in melee with genestealers then something has gone very, very wrong.
