    I know how you feel. Even though I knew, from the Prismrivers' backstory, something like this was almost certainly coming (and even if someone wasn't familiar with their origin from the games, there were enough red flags raised earlier in just this chapter alone to at least tip them off), it didn't prepare me for the blow. Not even close.

    This is the mark of a good storyteller.
